BANDARAYA — Persatuan Anak MYSverse (PAM) and Gerakan Suara Bangsa (GSB) have agreed to an informal cooperation arrangement ahead of the upcoming 26th General Election, in a move aimed at consolidating their electoral strategies.

Under the agreement, both parties will avoid contesting in each other’s incumbent seats. GSB has agreed not to field candidates in PAM’s seven seats, while PAM will reciprocate by not contesting GSB’s six seats.

As part of the arrangement, PAM’s seats include Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak Selatan, Pahang Utara, and Pahang Selatan. Meanwhile, GSB’s seats include Seberang Perai, Pulau Pinang, Perak Utara, Putrajaya, Melaka, and Labuan.

Both parties will, however, contest all seats currently held by Parti Demokratik MYSverse (PDM), bringing the total number of contested seats to 24 for PAM and 23 for GSB.

Party officials stated that the arrangement is designed to minimise internal competition, allowing both parties to focus their campaigns against a common political opponent while ensuring balanced candidate representation across constituencies.

The agreement also signals a broader intent for continued collaboration, with both PAM and GSB expressing hopes to work constructively together throughout the campaign period and beyond, positioning themselves as a stronger alternative within the MYSverse political landscape.
